Johnnie Walker Blue Label Bottling Note
Johnnie Walker Blue Label is the rarest whisky from this world famous brand – only one in ten thousand casks makes the grade. Rich and slightly smoky, it's made up of some very old malt and grain Scotch whiskies.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Fragrant with good body. Notes of oak, crisp spice, dried fruit, pastries. Berry fruits, aniseed, hints of cedar, a touch of spice and citrus.
Palate: Supple and balanced. Good toffee and hints of very wistful smoke. Chocolate, hints of grass and a good hit of malt.
Finish: Floral, oaky, good length, urged on by a plume of very well-kept, highland style smoke. Dried fruit, spice, honey.
Overall: One of the ultimate premium blends, Blue Label is a legend in its own right and will continue to be.

Johnnie Walker Blue Label Reviews
Lovely balanced and smooth.
Johnnie Walker blue is that whiskey for the people that don't really like whiskey but want to come across as cool and interesting. It's still a decent bottling, and I have ordered the Chinese New Year bottles as the art is brilliant.

All about the Finish....
I do realize some view this as a vanity item. However, for me this scotch whiskey blend simply has my favorite finish of all time. Its a 5 for me because I long for that distinct spice/tabacco finish that compliments the subtle hints of sweetness and chocolate.

Nice drink but overpriced.
Not a bad drink, nice nose, rich aftertaste, but too overpriced. What can you do about modern marketing.

Over price
Very disappointing

Good whisky, way overpriced
Decent whisky but good lord the price is ridiculously, Green label walks all over this and at a quarter of the price it's bonkers. Gifted a bottle at Xmas, blind tasting with 9 other bottles, all 10-15yo single malts, put the this in 7th place...

Exceptionally good
It may not be for everyone but it is certainly the best one for me.

Downhill racee
JW Blue Label always was a special treat. In recent years it tastes like the blend consists mainly of heavy Islay malts, way out of proportion. I rember the days when it was advertised as especially for Japan export with numbered bottles and all. Overpriced and apparently not exclusive anymore.

Terrible
still can't understand the great value of this whisky, green label and 18 yr old or the inexpensive double black are much worthy contenders than this bizarre experiment, it reminds me to the awful highland park Einar.

Easy-to-drink exceptional dram!
Really enjoying this supple and balance dram for the beginner of whisky lover. Enjoy the slightly smoky which is suitable for matching with oysters.
